Fine Art Reproduction

Museum-Grade Fidelity for Oil Paintings, Watercolors, & Original Media

Fine art reproduction is equal parts science and craftsmanship. At Houston Art Printers, we specialize in translating the subtle texture, brushstrokes, and complex color palettes of original physical artwork into archival Giclée prints that capture every nuance of the artist's original vision.

Our 4-Stage Protocol

How We Reproduce Original Art

Artwork Drop-off & Preparation
01

Artwork Drop-off & Preparation

Bring your original artwork or document to our studio. We will inspect the surface, texture, and composition to determine the best scanning approach.

Digital Capture & Color Selection
02

Digital Capture & Color Selection

We photograph artwork using controlled lighting conditions to capture texture, color, and depth without glare or distortion. We then work with you to select the right printing medium.

Client Review & Approval
03

Client Review & Approval

You will receive a proof for review. We can also arrange side-by-side proofing at our studio. Once master color palette has been approved, this cannot be changed. Additional fees may apply.

Print Production & Finishing

After color approval, we print master editions using agreed upon medium. Prints are inspected, signed, packaged, and sealed with protective coating.
